Congratulations Grace, 8th in the World!

Grace Reid boosted her growing reputation in international diving with the best British performance for 56 years in the women’s 3m springboard final. After an amazing 2016 season, being National Champion on 3m and having won European bronze in London earlier this year, Grace scored 318.60 to finish eighth at the Olympic Games – Team GB’s best result in the event since Liz Ferris won bronze in 1960. Grace saved her best performance forthe final in Rio, stepping up on her 304.25 and 314.25 efforts from the prelims and semis respectively..

Grace has now completed legs 1 & 2 of the FINA World Championships in Beijing and Guangzhou. Diving in three events, synchro, mixed synchro and individual she has done a fantastic job and we are all so proud of her!  All the very best of luck to Grace for the next leg of the World Series!
